Practical classes
Every class is done on the computer. You do the work yourself instead of watching a trainer do it.
Home About
BMIT is a practical training institute in West Mambalam, Chennai. We train commerce graduates for jobs in accounts, finance and banking.
Good students were finishing their degree and not getting a single interview call.
We saw this happen to many students, year after year. These were students who had studied hard and done well in their exams.
The problem was not their ability. College teaches accounting theory well, but most students never use Tally, SAP or the GST portal. Companies expect freshers to use this software from the first day, and the syllabus does not teach it.
So we started BMIT to teach these practical skills. Our courses work alongside your degree and prepare you for your first job.
So you know what to expect before you join.
Our finance courses do not prepare you for an exam. They prepare you for a job. Only the nationalised banks course prepares you for the IBPS exams.
You get a certificate, and also a portfolio of the work you did during the course. Employers can see what you are able to do.
Your degree gives you the theory. Our course adds the practical software skills that the degree does not cover.
Every module teaches a skill that accounting jobs in Chennai ask for.
Courses run from 40 hours to six months, so you can start working sooner.
You practise each task many times, so you can do it with confidence at work and in interviews.
Every class is done on the computer. You do the work yourself instead of watching a trainer do it.
You work with real invoices, purchase orders, bank statements and payroll registers.
We add mistakes to the data on purpose, so you learn to find and fix them, just as you will at work.
Each batch has up to 15 students, so the trainer can help every student personally.
You learn to write professional emails and present reports clearly to your manager.
We run mock interviews until you are confident, and help you find a job until you are placed.
Sit in on a class, see a student's portfolio and talk to our trainers. No appointment needed, and you are welcome to bring your parents.
